This small, friendly, licensed guest house offers comfortable, well-appointed accommodation in a quiet, elevated position, close to all that the delightful seaside town of Paignton has to offer.
Sonachan House has 9 comfortable and well-equipped en suite rooms. Each room is attractively decorated and has a TV, clock radio, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. A generous full cooked English breakfast is included in the room rates.
The guest house has a well-stocked bar where you can relax over a drink or join in the regular games and quizzes on offer. Guests can also take advantage of the cosy lounge, with its comfortable sofas and the television with Freeview digital channels. There are also many children's games available.You could also enjoy the lovely gardens, where you can relax and take in the peace and quiet while you have a pot of tea or something stronger!

By Public Transport: The hotel is just 10 minutes' walk from Paignton's railway, bus and coach stations. By Car (from the M5 southbound): - Take the M5 southbound to junction 31. - Leave the M5 at junction 31, exiting on to the A38. - Leave the A38, taking the A380 towards Torquay. - Go straight over the Penn Inn roundabout at Newton Abbott. - Turn right at the next roundabout, following the signs towards Paignton. - Keep going straight on over all the roundabouts, ignoring the signs for Paignton. - Go straight on at the traffic lights. - Turn left at the next set of traffic lights, following the signs towards Paignton Zoo, passing the Riviera Tile Company on the corner. - Go straight on at the next set of traffic lights (the zoo) and the take the next right into Hayes Road. - This road goes into Penwill Way, through a residential area. - At the traffic lights, turn left onto Dartmouth Road. - At the mini-roundabout, turn right into Roundham Road. - Take the first right (also Roundham Road). - Take the first left, round the corner into St. Andrew's Road. - Sonachan House is the first driveway on the right-hand side. - The car park is at the back of the house.
