It is only minutes from Shanklin Old Village, Rylstone Gardens, Shanklin Chine, the sea and Shanklin beach, as well as being close to many National Trust walks, some of which start right outside the front gate.
Originally built in the 1860s for one of Queen Victoria's ladies in waiting, the house still retains its sense of history, whilst providing modern accommodation and leisure facilities in a comfortable country house style.
