This traditional, small hotel is on the edge of the South Downs in Pulborough and has breathtaking views over the Downs and Arun Wild Brooks.
Chequers Hotel is the perfect place for a relaxing, peaceful retreat. It dates back to the 16th century, and offers contemporary, individually styled rooms as well as hearty food and fine ales. Interesting walks, Pulborough Brooks RSPB Nature Reserve and Arundel Wildfowl & Wetlands Centre are in the surrounding area.
The on-site Sovereigns restaurant offers fresh and diverse meals made with local ingredients. Dishes from the Black Rock Grill menu are presented on a heated volcanic granite stone. The bar is ideal for relaxing pre-dinner drinks, or coffee and a get-together.
