The master bedroom, with its heavy oak-beamed ceiling and small-paned timber windows, creates a traditional Tudor atmosphere. The magnificent 7-foot four-poster bed is draped in red and gold tapestries. For your comfort there is an LCD TV, DVD and a CD player in the room. Next to the bedroom is an en suite bathroom with a fine selection of toiletries. Downstairs, the large period lounge is decorated in rich, dark Arabian red, with fresh flowers. It has a low, beamed timber ceiling and features luxurious leather sofas, an LCD TV, CD player and lighting that can be dimmed to suit the mood. CD library and a digital radio with an iPod docking station are also available. Outside there is a seating area by the pond complete with candelabra, which you can light. There is a full set of crockery, cutlery, a fridge, a toaster, microwave and glassware. A hospitality tray has a kettle with a fine selection of tea, coffee and biscuits. Please note that due to the age and nature of the property there are uneven floors, narrow stairs and some very low beams, especially in the bathroom. Door heights are also low. Due to the huge amount of old timbers in this suite, no candles are permitted.

By Car: - Take the M6. - Exit at junction 19. - Join the A556 towards Knutsford. - After 2 miles, turn left onto the A537 signposted to Knutsford. - From Knutsford, take the B5085 through Mobberley to Alderley Edge. - Within Alderley Edge, take the B5087 signposted Macclesfield. - Wizards Thatch is 100 yards on the left at Summerhill Cottages. The cottage is just 10 minutes from Manchester Airport and within minutes of the M6 and M56.
