In 14 acres of gardens, on the shores of Loch Tay, with breathtaking views across the loch to Ben Lawers mountain, the Ardeonaig Hotel and Restaurant offers great wine and award-winning food.
With a beautiful, peaceful location, on the south side of Loch Tay, not far from the village of Kenmore, the hotel is small-scale, intimate and very personal.
There are just 20 rooms in the main hotel, as well as 2 cottage suites and 5 new burnside rondevals (a South African-influenced thatched cottage).
With Europe's most extensive South African wine cellar and superb cuisine, made with great local produce, the hotel holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand symbol and an Inn of the Year award.
The hotel has recently taken over the 8000-acre Ardtalnaig Estate and now offers guests guided walks, photographic stalking, off-road cycling and the exclusive use of a mountain bothy for lunch and dinner.

The hotel's inspired kitchen team use high-quality local produce and even the most demanding taste buds will be very well catered for. Wine lovers will be in raptures too, with Europe's most extensive South African wine cellar. Outside the hotel, Europe's most northerly vineyard is beginning to take shape. New dining options include The Cellar, and a more casual all-day option: The Study.
The Ardeonaig Hotel and Restaurant is situated on the secluded south shore of Loch Tay, about one hour's drive from Perth or Stirling and within two hours' drive of Glasgow or Edinburgh. By Car (from Kenmore): - The hotel is on the South Loch Tay Road, midway between Kenmore and Killin, with Kenmore being the closest village to the east. - As you approach Kenmore, take the road to the south of Loch Tay, following the signs towards Acharn. Follow this road, which will bring you to the hotel, passing through the tiny hamlets of Acharn and Ardtalnaig. By Car (from Killin): - From Killin, next to the Falls of Dochart, take the South Loch Tay Road, passing through the tiny hamlet of Achmore before arriving at Ardeonaig.
