Situated in the old market town of Malton, near York, this centuries-old coaching inn provides the ideal base from which to explore all that North Yorkshire has to offer.
During your stay at the Green Man, you can easily visit the coastal towns of Scarborough and Whitby, made famous in the ITV series 'Heartbeat'. Alternatively, you can indulge with a shopping trip to the nearby McAuther Glen Designer Outlet and Monks Cross shopping centres.
After a long day, you can return to the Green Man to find everything you would expect from a traditional Yorkshire inn with a modern twist. Original Oak Bars are complemented by the new Bar Auto and the Pool Hall, both serving a wide range of good food and fine ales.

All children are welcome. All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged GBP 5.00 per night and person for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
The all day menu is available between 11:30 and 20:30 everyday in The Green Man's Oak Bars and the new Bar Auto. There is also a a selection of daily specials to choose from. Every Sunday, between 12:00 and 19:00, you can enjoy a delicious carvery. To accompany your meal, the inn offers a wide range of beers, lagers, wines and spirits. Bar Auto and The Oak Bars are both open to both residents and the public throughout the year. Walk in service is available, however, it is advised that you pre-book to avoid disappointment.
