This guest house and restaurant offers affordable accommodation very close to the small sandy beach in the heart of Ilfracombe's Heritage Harbour, on the South West Coast Path.
The Harbour Lights dates from 1895 and was purpose built as a small hotel at the height of Ilfracombe's Victorian heyday. Many of the original features remain, such as the central staircase with its antique mahogany banister and the sash windows.
The guest house has a 60-seater, licensed restaurant on the ground floor. It specialises in Appledore fish and seafood, Exmoor lamb and beef and Ilfracombe lobster.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, the first night will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Most guests use the Marine Drive car park on the harbourside, just a short stroll along Broad Street. Charges are reasonable at just GBP 3 per 24 hours with discounts available for 4 and 7-day permits.
All rooms are fully en suite and non-smoking. Room have high-quality, supportive mattresses; free in-room tea and coffee; individually controlled heating and many more special little touches.

By Car - On entering Ilfracombe, follow the signs to the harbour. - You will be directed along The Promanade (passing Landmark Theatre on your left) and then down St James Place. - At the T-junction with the RNLI shop opposite, turn left and The Harbour Lights is immediately on your left. - You may pull up outside to check-in and unload your luggage. By Bus/Coach The bus station is about 90 metres away on Broad Street. National Express coaches arrive daily. By Train The nearest railway station is Barnstaple.
