This 18th century Georgian manor house has been lovingly converted into a stylish and intimate place to stay, with a convenient location just 5 minutes from junction 33 of the M6 motorway.
The Ashton offers a combination of beautifully appointed rooms and personal service for a truly special stay. The stylish accommodation features great king-size beds; Egyptian cotton sheets and luxurious en suite bathrooms. Every room has a flat-screen TV and a DVD player.
Lancaster's historic city centre is just minutes away and some of Britain's most spectacular scenery is on the doorstep, including the Trough of Bowland, the coast of Morecambe and the Lakeland Fells beyond.

Each of the rooms is unique, with its own individual charm. Nevertheless, all of the rooms boast the same great comforts and facilities as standard. King-size beds and Egyptian-cotton bedding provide a great night's sleep, while the luxurious en suite bathrooms boast under-floor heating, great showers and exclusive toiletries and bathroom products from REN, for a fantastic start to your day, whatever you have planned. All rooms have flat-screen TVs, DVD players and access to a DVD library. Every room has a hospitality tray fully stocked with teas, coffees, biscuits and complimentary bottled water.
Grand Rooms have a little extra space. Each room is individual but all are sumptuously appointed. King-size beds have high quality bedding and bathrooms have either a roll-top bath and shower; a double shower; or a shower over the bath. You will also find exclusive REN toiletries and under-floor heating. In addition to the facilities already listed (see below), the room has a flat-screen TV with built-in DVD player, a desk with chair and lamp and ironing facilities on request. There's a butler’s tray with homemade treats and fresh milk for your tea and coffee.
The Ashton is lucky enough to have some excellent food producers right on the doorstep, so the food is always as fresh, and as local, as it can be.
