Minadab Cottage in Teignmouth is a tranquil retreat and has been a coastal landmark for the past 200 years. The cottage is 9 miles (14.5 km) from Exeter, 6 miles (9.7 km) from Dartmoor and 5 miles (8 km) from Torquay and Newton Abbott.
The original cottage was supposedly built in the shape of a boat, with rooms 'fore and aft' and a rope ladder joining the ground floor to the upper deck - now replaced with modern stairs! Today it has been transformed into a delightful B&B by its owners.
Unfortunately, due to the rooms, Minadab Cottage is unable to accommodate very young children.

Pheobe is situated at the front of the cottage, on the first floor. It benefits from sea views, a double bed, en suite bathroom and a large walk in wardrobe.
A separate seating area of 2 arm chairs and table along with white towelling robes supplied for your personal use and relaxation.
Ajax is situated at the rear of the cottage, on the first floor. It features one double bed, plenty of wardrobe and draw storage and white towelling robes for your personal use and relaxation.
Ajax's private shower room is situated immediately opposite. It is fitted with a modern WC, large shower and dressing table with a mirror and plenty of cupboard space.
Pickle room is an individually decorated room, with 2 single beds and en suite bath and shower over. The room is on the ground floor, with plenty of storage space in the wardrobe and large chest of drawers.
