Avalon provides free transfers to the airport between 04:00 and 11:00. Transfers from the airport are available from 16:00 until 22:00 (additional cost). Transfers to and from Elsenham station are free.

Breakfast includes tea, coffee, fruit juice, jams, marmalades and a selection of cereals with milk. For those who need to leave before 07:00, a take-away early starter breakfast is available. The house is close to a village pub, The Crown. The pub's offers tasty food, made with locally sourced produce, at reasonable prices. Guests staying at Avalon receive a free drink with their meals. Alternatively, the local takeaway gives guests a 20% discount.

By Air: Avalon is approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) from London Stansted Airport. Complimentary airport transfers are available every hour, on the hour, from 04:00 to 11:00 and from 16:00 to 22:00. By Bus: Alternatively, guests can also reach Avalon via the number 7 Village Link bus (VL7). The bus leaves from Stansted Airport coach station from 07:30 to 19:30. The closest stop to the house is Memorial Hall, Elsenham. Please check with the driver. By Train: You can also catch a train to Elsenham. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport.
