About Royal Sportsman Hotel hotel
Set within a beautiful Victorian residence, this charming hotel is the only accommodation in Porthmadog to be awarded a star rating by the AA and Visit Wales.
The hotel is an ideal base from which to explore the natural beauty of the Cambrian Coast, the Llyn Peninsula, Snowdonia National Park and Anglesey.
Royal Sportsman Hotel offers comfortable 3-star rooms alongside a restaurant, coffee lounge, bar, patio garden and private covered car park. The excellent restaurant has been awarded an AA rosette.
As a family-friendly hotel, The Royal Sportsman can accommodate children of any age, from babies to teenagers. And, if you want to bring the whole family, the hotel will be happy to accept your pets (see Hotel Policies). All rooms have recently been refurbished.

Cancellations
If cancelled up to 8 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 30.00 will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Deposit
A fixed amount of GBP 30 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.

All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All children under 5 years stay free of charge for extra beds. All children from 5 to 15 years are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged GBP 35.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Important Information
If cancelled, and a room is subsequently re-let on behalf of the guest, then only the deposit will be forfeited. Deposits will be held for a period of 6 months and can be used against a further booking within this time period.

The Royal Sportsman Hotel has different sized en suite rooms on 3 floors. The hotel has no lift, but there is assistance with bags on arrival. There are ground-floor rooms available and all public facilities are also on the ground floor. All rooms have new King Koil Club Class divan beds and non-allergenic pillows, as well as the listed facilities.
