During your stay at Sawrey House you can explore Grizedale Forest or take the ferry across to the east of Lake Windermere. Alternatively, you can drive north to the very heart of the Lake District where you will find Ambleside, Hawkshead, Coniston, Langdale, Grasmere and Keswick.
Sawrey House offers a relaxing lounge, furnished with comfy sofas and antiques, where you can unwind after a long day by the log fire and enjoy the beautiful views across the peaceful garden, fountain and surrounding countryside.
