The Downe Arms Country Inn has a great location, on the borders of the Yorkshire Moors. Perfectly placed for exploring the region's stunning natural beauty, the hotel is great for walkers, cyclists, shooters and anglers or simply for a peaceful, relaxing break.

Part of the Dawnay Estates, founded in 1656, the hotel offers a traditional, historical setting. All of the rooms are individually decorated with their own unique charm. Some of the rooms have beautiful Georgian windows, while others have low original wooden beams and unusual arched windows. All of the rooms offer traditional country elegance alongside contemporary comforts and modern facilities, allowing you to enjoy the best of both worlds.
