This peaceful, family-run Edwardian B&B with stunning views offers superb accommodation and personal service. It is an 8-minute bus ride (1.5 miles) from the city centre.
High Beeches B &B is on the southern slopes of Bath, in an area of outstanding natural beauty with many walks and fine pubs. High Beeches is a few minutes' walk from Wansdyke and the ancient village of Southstoke. Both university campuses are close by.
Enjoy views of Horsecombe Vale in the Midford Valley, and out towards Midford Castle. Each well-equipped room has an en suite shower and free Wi-Fi access. The B&B offers courtesy pick-up/drop-off to the railway or bus stations. Secure parking is available.

This stunning superior room is about 25 m². It can accommodate 1 or 2 additional older children or adults, at an additional cost. Please advise High Beeches at the time of booking. It has a super king-size bed with an extra bed/sofa bed. There are glorious views down towards the Midford Valley. The room has a luxurious, large en suite bathroom with a double power shower. There is a 26-inch digital LCD TV with 40+ channels.
There are 2 very smart luxury double rooms, with full en suite bathroom and king-size bed. Each has glorious views down towards the Midford Valley and to the rear of the house. Rooms include a 19-inch digital LCD TV with 40+ channels. The room is 4.6 metres by 3.8 metres (15 feet, 3 inches by 12 feet, 6 inches).
A healthy, high-quality breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the gardens. Breakfast consists of fresh fruit juice, fruit, yogurt, cereals, toast, and hot drinks. This is followed by a cooked English breakfast. Breakfast is served between 07:30 and 10:00 (or at an alternative time on request).
Driving along Midford Road B3110 you then pass the Cross Keys pub on your left. After about 200 metres take the first right turning up a bumpy track called CRANLEIGH driving nearly to the top and turning left by the new five bar wooden gate. We are 90 metres down the small lane on the left with light green garage door and the sign HIGH BEECHES and secure parking. This will bring you in to the back of the house where you will be greeted or walk through back gate and ring the bell on the back of the conservatory door.
