By Car (from Porto Airport - 85 km): - Drive round the car park, follow the road round a left hand curve, then follow the blue signs to Porto / Braga (lettering is small) on right hand side. - On the A3, follow the signs for Valença. - Follow the blue sign to join the A3 motorway to Valença / Braga. - Keep in the right-hand lane joining the motorway, to pick up a toll ticket. - Leave the motorway at junction 8 - Braga Sul / Celeirós. - Go through the toll. - Follow signs for Braga Sul / Celeirós. - Bear right to Porto / Famalicão / Braga Sul and take the turning to Braga Sul. - Then follow the signs for Braga / Guimarães / Chaves, then the signs for Braga Este / Chaves. - Be careful, there is a dangerous set of bends. - After passing Carrefour on the right, start to get in the right-hand lane. - Take a right turn after the Repsol station, for Chaves / Bom Jesus. - Move into the left-hand lane and go through the underpass. - Head straight on at the roundabout, and straight on again, then take the second exit at the roundabout. - Head straight on at the next roundabout and follow this road (N103) all the way until Cerdeirinhas. - Passing Galp petrol station on your left, take the left turn marked Gerês / Rio Caldo / Pousada. - Follow this twisting road down to Pousada de São Bento.
