The small traditional houses of Marvão, a medieval town with walls dating back to the 13th century, seem to squeeze the narrow little streets that wind between them.
The 2 village houses that have been comfortably converted into a Pousada offer an exceptionally beautiful panorama from the reception rooms and certain bedrooms.

All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All children from 2 to 12 years are charged 15 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged 30 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

By Car (from Lisbon or Porto): - Take the A1 highway and exit at Torres Novas. - Go along the A23 until the exit to Portalegre, where you have to take the IP2. - Travel along the IP2 until Alpalhão, where you must follow the EN246 towards Castelo Vide / Spain. - Passing by Castelo Vide, follow the directions to Portagem/Marvão. - At the Village of Portagem take a left and follow in the direction of Marvão. - Come into the village, taking a left (always around the walls) and you will see the sign, Pousada P, where you can park your car.
