Opened in 1987, and recently renovated the windsor hotel is the only 4 star hotel, located in a quiet area, in the centre of Funchal city.
The hotel also has on offer: 24 hours reception service, multilingual staff. On the roof top there's a swimming pool bar and solarium.

Hotel Windsor is located at about 20kms from the airport. Heading to Funchal, take the first exit to FUNCHAL, keep straight on to the left to Rua Ribeira João Gomes, then turn right to Rua João de Deus, and straight to Rua Bom Jesus. Then on the Canal turn left until the first traffic lights, there turn left and go straight on, until you pass by the Church "Do Carmo", turn left and the Hotel will apear on the right hand side.
