Situated on the very edge of the Westland World Heritage Park, the Scenic Hotel Franz Joseph Glacier will welcome you in true New Zealand style. Encompassing two distinctive properties just one kilometre apart, each individual wing has its own charm and atmosphere and makes the most of the lush native bush surroundings and superb alpine views.
The Douglas and Graham Wings are within the Franz Josef Village, and just north of the village the Mueller Wing is situated on five hectares of landscaped grounds sloping down to the river.

Franz Josef village is situated on state Highway 6, 2 hours south of Greymouth on excellent roads. Buses run twice daily from Greymouth via Franz Josef to Queenstown and back.
