Breakfast is offered in the delightful spacious breakfast room which overlooks the beautiful gardens and will set you up for a day by the lakes. Ingredients are sourced locally therefore ensuring the best traditional Cumbrian Breakfast. Fairfield house has a large guest lounge adjacent to the terrace where guests can relax by the warming log fire after a busy day in the surrounding area with a licensed bar to end that perfect day with a nightcap. Internet and wireless access are always available.
From the M6: - Exit at junction 36 - Head north-west via the A590, signposted for Kendal, then Windermere - After 8.4 miles (13.5 km), take the 1st exit at the roundabout to the B5284 (to Crook and Hawkshead) - After 6.3 miles (10.1 km), at a T-junction, turn right onto the A5074 to Bowness - After 0.8 miles (1.3 km), upon entering Bowness, you will pass the Royal Oak pub on the right. - Then, after the Spinnery Restaurant on the right, immediately take a sharp right into Brantfell road, - Continue up ashort hill and Fairfield House is 200 metres on thr right.
