Between Torquay Harbour and Babbacombe Downs, home of the cliff-top railway, this well-preserved, 19th-century building offers charming accommodation and some limited free parking.
The Clifton Grove is a Grade II listed building, originally built by the Royal Navy to accommodate the families of their captains. The harbour, the seafront and the town's many other attractions are a 10-minute stroll away.
All rooms have washbasins, ironing facilities, hairdryers, tea/coffee and LCD flat-screen TVs with Freeview. Some rooms have en suite bathrooms and rooms with shared bathroom facilities are also available.
The property has a small residents' bar offering a large choice of drinks at reasonable prices. The lounge has a 42-inch TV and free access to a DVD library.
