With stunning views of Lake Windermere, this traditional stone-built Lakeland cottage has been recently refurbished, combining beautiful original features with modern comforts.
Originally built in around 1860, the Bay House Lake View Guest House has a fabulous lakeside location in the charming old town of Bowness-on-Windermere. The town's shops, pubs and restaurants are only a few minutes' walk away, as is the Bowness Pier, from where you can enjoy a leisurely cruise on the lake.
In the heart of the English Lake District, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, the guest house has spectacular views over the lake from 4 of its 6 en suite rooms. Newly refurbished and tastefully decorated in keeping with the age and character of the property, all of the rooms have TVs, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryers.
The guest house is family-run and your hosts, Sandra & Colin, have spent great care on sensitively upgrading the house.
