Originally built in 1913 as a luxury apartment building, this small European-style hotel has been updated with many styles of rooms that accommodate business travelers and tourists alike.
Located close to the Dupont Metro station and the 13th/U St Metro station, the hotel offers easy access to Washington DC and the surrounding areas, the hotel is also convenient placed for visiting local restaurants and shopping.
Renovated several times over the years, the Windsor Inn's art deco lobby has original curved counters, moldings, and floor tiles from the 1920s renewal. In 1986, the owner added a 9-room annex which created a diverse and unique 46 room hotel.

Directions: From BWI Airport Take 95 South to 495 West. Take the Georgia Ave. South exit and almost immediately exit onto 16th St. Travel 7 miles south on 16th St. The Windsor Inn is at 16th & R Sts. on the left. From I-95 (heading North) Take 95 North to 395 North towards Washington, DC. Cross the 14th St. Bridge and stay in the left lane towards Route 1. Go about 2 miles down 14th St. and make a left onto P St. Make a right onto 16th St. The Windsor Inn is on the left at 16th & T Sts. From the Baltimore-Washington Parkway/295 (Maryland going South) Take the Parkway to New York Ave. After you pass 7th St., New York Ave. becomes Massachusetts Ave. At Scott Circle turn right onto 16th St. going north. The Windsor Inn is 8 blocks north on the left. From I-66 Take Roosevelt Bridge onto Constitution Ave. Make a left on 18th St. and travel about 2 miles. Make a right on Q St. and a left onto 16th St. The Windsor Inn is at 16th & T Sts. on the left. From Route 1 (heading North) Take Washington St. through Alexandria to George Washington Parkway. Go over Memorial Bridge and make a right on Constitution Ave. Make a left on 18th St. and travel about 2 miles. Make a right on Q St. and a left onto 16th St. The Windsor Inn is at 16th & T Sts. on the left.
