This individually styled hotel is situated in a tranquil side-street of Hamburg, right on the Alster lake and just a 5-minute-walk from the main railway station.
The Hotel Wedina consists of 4 buildings, each themed by a colour (red, blue, yellow or green) and a featuring distinctive flair. The buildings combine architecture, art and literature in a unique concept.
Enjoy breakfast and linger at your ease in summer on the Tuscan lawn. In winter, while the hours away in the light and warmth of the hotel conservatory, to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
Enjoy convenient public transport connections, make use of the internet port in the lobby and rent a bike right from the hotel to explore the city at your leisure.

Based on the overall architectural concept of the Wedina, every room has been individually decorated, with careful attention to detail. The aim is to leave classical hotel monotony behind.
Our single room studios are located in the yellow or green houses. Spacious rooms with separate living and sleeping areas, all with wood flooring and brightly furnished. All rooms feature free internet access.

Breakfast is served daily from 06:30 until 11:00. In summer, you can enjoy your breakfast and morning newspaper in the charming hotel garden from 08:00. In winter, you can relax in the attractive conservatory.
Follow these directions to the hotel Wedina when arriving by train. Hamburg central station / Hauptbahnhof. Leave via exit Kirchenallee. Walking: Approx. 5 minutes. The Deutsches Schauspielhaus theatre is located opposite the station - take the road Lange Reihe, about 50 metres to the left of the theatre. Keep on walking until the street Gurlittstrasse comes up on the left (approx. 150 m). Bus, route 6: Use the bus stop located about 50 metres to the right of the Deutsches Schauspielhaus theatre, across from Bodega Nagel. Get off at the next bus stop - Gurlittstrasse. Taxi: Very short ride - so short that cab drivers occasionally moan. Don't let them brush you off (duty of transportation!) - or just take the last taxi in the queue.
