Hotel Wittelsbacher Hof, just a five minute walk from the pedestrian zone, the park and the Convention Centre, is a first class hotel with 55 well-appointed rooms. All rooms have private bath, TV and telephone. Most have a southern balcony overlooking the garden and mount Zugspitze. The house also has a swimmingpool, sauna, steambath and wellness-area.

By train: Garmisch-Partenkirchen is on the railway line Munich-Innsbruck. Trains run in both directions hourly. Travel time Munich-Garmisch is 90 minutes, Innsbruck-Garmisch 75 minutes. By car: From Munich: approximately 80 kms Motorway A 95 in the direction of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. From end of motorway at Eschenlohe, follow B 2 (10 kms). After the tunnel, follow direction Partenkirchen, turn right at the 2nd traffic light. The hotel is located in 300 meters on the left. From Innsbruck: approximately 55 kms. Take the road via Seefeld and Mittenwald to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, turn left at the 5th traffic light. The hotel is located in 300 meters on the left. By air: From Munich Airport (140 kms) by train, rental car or taxi (can be arranged by hotel, approximately EUR 130.00) to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. From Innsbruck (55 kms) by train, rental car or taxi (approximately EUR 60.00)
