The hotel, which is the birth house of the famous painter Hiasl Maier-Erding, has been run by family Mayr since four generations. It is itself a cultural sight of Bavaria. Located in the city centre of Erding, the Mayr-Wirt is a convenient place for people to meet, celebrate, and enjoy Bavarian cuisine, or simply drink a famous Erdinger beer.
