About Salina Maris hotel
This 4-star spa hotel is located in the heart of the Jungfrau-Aletsch-Bietschhorn World Heritage Site in the Valais, 8 km away from the centre of Brig.
The Salina Maris offers spacious rooms and suites with balcony or terrace, free coffee and tea in the lobby, and free transfers from and to the train station at Mörel at arrival and departure (900 metres away).
The large spa area (800 m²) with its own therapy department, sauna, steam bath, fitness room and saline bath can be used free of charge. Bathrobes are available.
Guided hiking tours are offered both in summer and winter (with snowshoes). The tennis court can be used free of charge.
Breiten is located in the centre of the Aletsch area and is a central starting point for hiking trips in the whole upper Valais and for skiing at the Riederalp, Bettmeralp and Fiescheralp ski areas. All ski areas can be reached with the free ski bus and the cable car in about 15 minutes. Cross-country skiing is available in nearby Goms.
In summer the area is ideal for hiking and mountain biking. Mountain bikes for guests' use are available at Hotel Salina Maris. A 9-hole golf course is located at Riederalp.
