We specialise in Thuringian cuisine, which you can enjoy directly in the restaurant, the cellar bar or on our outside terrace.
From the A4 motorway coming from Frankfurt/Main: - Follow the A4 towards Dresden until the Waltershausen exit - Drive towards Waltershausen - At the first set of traffic lights (after approx. 300 metres) turn right towards Tabarz - Follow the main street (approx. 4 km) - At the second set of traffic lights turn right - At the ESSO petrol station turn left and follow the main street until you reach a major junction in the town centre - Go straight across the junction and follow the street for approx. 250 m. The hotel is situated on the right hand side. From the A4 coming from Hermsdorfer Kreuz/Dresden: - Follow the A4 towards Frankfurt/Main until the Waltershausen exit - See above for further directions. By rail: - Take the train to Gotha and change on to the 'Thueringer Waldbahn' - From Tabarz station the hotel is a 5-minute walk.
