The old postal street Ilmenau-Coburg runs through the well-known Thuringian Forest. This is where our guesthouse is situated, right on the certified hiking trail "Goldpfad".
Neumannsgrund, a district of Steinheid, is situated not far from the Rennsteig (2 km) trail and the upper Schwarza Valley. Look forward to countless hiking trails as well as lots of attractions and spa offers. We offer a shuttle service.

Restaurants and Bars
We serve home-style cuisine in the typical Thuringian style, consisting of snacks for busy guests and dishes such as stews and hearty soups. Our kitchen is open from 10:30 to 16:30 Tuesdays to Fridays. When the weather is fine, there is space for 25 people on our sun terrace and a children's playground to keep the little ones happy.
