By Train: From Naples by Ferrovie dello Stato (FFSS) railway you can reach Pompeii in approximately 25 minutes. Go out of the station of Pompeii, walk along Via Sacra towards the middle of Pompeii, and then turn left at the first corner: trav. Sant'Abbondio. By Plane: From the airport of Naples take a shuttle bus that goes to the station of Naples, and from there take the train as mentioned above. By Car: From the north, motorway A3: - Exit at Pompei Ovest. - Turn left and carry on for approximately 2 km (keeping right) until the station (FFSS). - Turn left on via Sacra, the street opposite the station. - Turn left again at the first corner: trav. Sant'Abbondio. From the south, motorway A3: - Exit at Pompei Est. - Turn left and carry on for approximately 1.5 km (keeping left) until the station (FFSS). - Turn right on via Sacra, the street opposite the station. - After 10 metres, turn left: trav. Sant'Abbondio.
