Back in the 19th century the property was the country house of an important family. In the summer of 2005, it opened as a hotel. Relais San Rocco is named after the mountain and little church that overlook it.

Directions
From highway A12 (Genova-Livorno) Exit at Sestri Levante (A12 Genova-Livorno) go straight, driving on the left lane to the traffic lights. Turn left, follow Via Aurelia, direction Passo del Bracco,( La Spezia). Keep the right side, go straight uphill, for about 2 km and in the meantime you will pass by several crossings. At the first hairpin bend, you will find the hotel, indicated by yellow signs. From Sestri Levante railway station At the exit go straight to the first crossing. Turn left, go straight, pass by a turnaround, follow Via Aurelia, direction Passo del Bracco- La Spezia. Keep the right lane, go straight uphill, for about 2 km and in the meantime you will pass by several crossings. At the first hairpin bend, you will find the hotel, indicated by yellow signs.
