Surrounded by forests, vines and olive groves, the Livernano offers historic accommodation in the heart of the Chianti Hills, close to both Siena and Florence.
The Livernano is also close to many local towns, historic sites, fine restaurants, and famous wineries.
The complete restoration of the entire estate began in 1990. Today, Livernano is both a hotel and a working farm, producing fine wines, excellent olive oil and honey, vegetables and fruits. All meals served at Livernano feature local produce.
Two of the estate's houses have been completely redesigned and furnished with local antiques, to accommodate guests.

If cancelled up to 51 days before date of arrival, 30 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 31 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 16 days before date of arrival, 75 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

These room are all on the first floor of the master building, accessed by an ancient, wide stone staircase. The stairs lead onto a communal living room, furnished with comfortable chairs and fireplace. These double rooms are set along 3 sides of the building and thus each offers different, but always beautiful, views over the rest of the hamlet, the vineyards, and the rich forests that surround the estate on all sides.
All rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished with fine, local antiques, comfortable beds and en-suite marble bathrooms.
The suite is 70 m² and features large windows that boast stunning views across the green hills, which surround the estate. The living room has an original wood-beamed ceiling and is beautifully furnished with antiques. These original features are accompanied by a host of modern comforts, such as a stereo, TV, minibar, and under-floor heating. The elegant marble bathroom comes with a hydromassage bathtub.
How to reach the hotel: By Car: - On the A1 motorway take the Firenze-Certosa exit. - After the toll gate turn right and follow the signs for the 'Raccordo Firenze-Siena', towards Siena for 21 km, and take the exit 'San Donato'. - Turn left towards Castellina in Chianti. Once in Castellina, turn right towards Siena (S222) and continue for 1.7 km until you reach a brown 'Livernano' sign (on the right side of the road). - Follow this sign along the dirt road for 5.3 km towards Radda in Chianti. - After 5.3 km (when you reach the large metal 'Livernano' sign), take a sharp right and follow the hotel's private road until you reach the hotel.
