Set against a backdrop of art and architecture, this carefully-restored hotel is situated in the charming Baroque town of Acireale, and was originally a 19th century grain-mill on the Riviera.
Excelsior Palace Terme provides shuttle service to the beach (09:30 to 18:30), located 2 km away from the hotel. The service is upon request and by payment and it is available from June until September.

The hotel's restaurants offer a cuisine of typical Sicilian and national recipes. Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 09:45. Lunch is available from 13:00 to 14:30. Dinner is served from 20:00 to 21:45. An à la carte menu and buffet are also served for lunch and dinner in the Agavi and Bouganville restaurants. Both restaurants are equipped with air conditioning and have a capacity of 500 seats. The hotel also provides theme parties that take place at the Il Giardino restaurant during the summer months.
