Centrally located in the heart of Duino, this family-run hotel has been welcoming guests from around the world since 1946, offering panoramic views from each of the rooms.
Situated between the historic Castle of Turn unt Taxis and the romantic Rilke Path, you can explore the town, it's amenities and bars, or enjoy a relaxing walk by the sea.
The hotel, which offered hospitality to Prince Charles in 1981, also offers easy access to the centre of Trieste and the famous beaches of the North Adriatic Riviera, as well as an excellent connection to and from the airport.

The hotel has a comfortable breakfast room including a lobby area and a large garden, close to the wood, where hot and cold drinks can be served depending on the weather. Breakfast is served each day from 07.30 - 10.30 For a small charge, we serve Breakfast at the rooms. Lunch and dinner room service can be ordered from local restaurants on request. Price lists are available from the hotel.
By car: From Venezia (West)/Austria (North): - Drive towards Trieste. - After the toll station, leave the motorway at Duino's gate (next to the petrol station). - After 600m, turn left. - Continue along this street for another 300m, you will find the hotel on the left-hand side. From Slovenia (East): - From Trieste city centre, follow directions towards Venezia or Udine - After 15 km you will reach Sistiana, continue along this street towards Duino. - Then, follow directions for Duino Mare. - The hotel is located close to the main square. By air: When you arrive at Trieste regional airport (Ronchi dei Legionari), you can either use the hotel's chaffeur service (15-20 minute drive), or use the coach service towards Duino Paese, where you will be picked up by a member of staff who will accompany you to the hotel. From Venezia Marco Polo or Treviso airport, the hotel's chaffeur service can be organized for you, or you can take the train to Monfalcone and the coach to Duino. By train: Get off at Monfalcone or Sistiana station, either the hotel's chaffeur service can be organized for you or you can take any bus going to Duino Paese, where you will be picked up by a member of the staff who will accompany you to the hotel.
