This holiday house has been created inside an old 19th century converted farmhouse, just outside Cortona, an ancient Etruscan town that has perfectly preserved its historical charm.
The farmhouse, overlooking Cortona and offering a charming view of the town is surrounded by a garden allowing all guests to enjoy an independent external area and a wonderful swimming pool(18x7). Just next to the house guests will be able to use an old wood-burning oven located in a covered area.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
All 4 apartments were built respecting the existing structures maintaining all the exposed-stone walls, exposed beam ceilings and typical terracotta vaults and furnished in typical Tuscan style. In compliance with all the current safety regulations and for the full safeguard of our guests each apartment is equipped with certified fireproof mattresses and curtains, fire-extinguisher and a small first aid-kit. Available for each apartment is also a covered car-space.
This 60 m² apartment consists of 2 double-bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen/living room with kitchenette and is equipped with dishwasher, fireplace, heating, air conditioning and satellite TV. The apartment La Loggia is located on the first floor of the farmhouse and was named after the loggia through which the apartment is accessed and that was recently renovated and brought back to its original splendour. The loggia is accessed externally through a stone staircase. It is characterized by its exposed beam ceilings, cotto (terracotta) floors and carved-stone sink, which was originally located in the farmhouse’s old kitchen and was recently restored and placed in the current kitchen.
Le Querce is located on the ground floor where once there were stables. The cotto (terracotta) vaults were brought back to light through recent restoration work and ensure that this apartment is unique. The apartment’s name was taken from the 2 oak-trees standing before the kitchen’s window. This 50 m² apartment consists of one double-bedroom, one bathroom, living room/kitchen with kitchenette and is equipped with dishwasher, fireplace, heating, air conditioning and satellite TV. It also boasts a private fully-equipped external space.
Il Cipresso is located on the ground-floor and is accessed from underneath the loggia. This 60 m² apartment is characterized by its partially restored cotto-lined (terracotta) vaults and the wonderful fireplace located in the living-room/kitchen. The name Il Cipresso is taken from the cypress standing right in front of the apartment’s entrance.
The breakfast includes one cappuccino, one juice and one brioche.
By Car: From the north or south: -Take the A1 Autostrada del Sole. - Exit at the Valdichiana tollbooth. - Once you have left the motorway, get on the E45 Siena-Perugia speedway and travel towards Perugia. - Exit at Foiano-Cortona. - Follow signs for Cortona-Camucia. - A few miles down, after driving past the villages of Farneta and Monsigliolo, you will see the farmhouse on the left-hand side. By train: The train station closest to the property is the Camucia-Cortona station (1.5 km) although major trains do not stop here, you need to travel to the Terontola station, which is located approximately 6 miles from the farmhouse. Major airports in the area are Florence, Pisa, Siena and Roma.
