At the heart of the Olive Riviera, Malcesine is probably the most popular resort on the whole of Lake Garda. Dominated by its medieval castle, what was once a sleepy fishing village is now a vibrant resort that still retains much of its ancient charm. Narrow, cobbled, traffic-free streets will take you back in time, whilst the famous Funivia cable-car will take you from Malcesine up to the top of Mount Baldo.
