Located in Reykjavík's business district, at walking distance from the city centre and its attractions, is the Park Inn Island. Close by are both the Asmundur Sveinsson Sculpture Museum and the Natural History Museum.

Café Island offers a choice of international dishes in modern surroundings. Breakfast is served throughout the year but lunch and dinner are only available from June to August. Choose from the á la carte menu or opt for the seafood dinner buffet on Fridays or the grand dinner buffet on Saturdays.

Park Inn's spacious and cosy lobby area with reception and bar has recently been refurbished, making it an ideal sport for pre-dinner drinks or breaks from meetings.

Guests interested in evening entertainment will delight in having one of Iceland's most popular nightclubs just next door to Park Inn.

Other local attractions include the only bathing beach in Iceland, Nauthólsvík, comfortably heated by warmed water. Worth a visit is also the Perlan building on Öskjuhlíð Hill, with its amazing restaurant with a rotating floor.
