The cooked breakfast was nice, apart from the coffee which was "stewed" and bitter.

room initially give wasn't what I had bought, they moved me to another room where the view was 10/10 , and made up for no hot water on the first night, which they rectified, bathroom was an add on almost Airplane cubicle in room
which was ok.
View made up for some of the shortcomings

What a beautiful setting - breathtaking views and sunsets, lovely staff, incredible meals, everything you need in the room too. We’ll definitely be back! Perfect place to explore the coast! We loved the hike along the coast path to Tintagel and back in time for a delicious lunch at Port William - what a treat!

Tintagel is a lovely village it has some real quaint shops and the castle beach is well worth a visit although found the entry fee to the castle a bit steep so we didn’t do that the tide was out for a visit to Merlin’s cave but be prepared for steep steps 😂 the pasty shop was lovely too and all the tea shops etc looked amazing happy travels 🥰🥰

I am trying to review Fisherman’s cottage-which was great except that it didn’t state anywhere in it that it was a studio flat. It said it had one bedroom but there is no door to separate it from the rest of the cottage so u are essentially sleeping in the same room as a fridge & freezer gurgling all night -and if u have a dog u have to sleep in the same room as it unless u shut it in the bathroom. I just thought that it was important to make this point somewhere as nowhere seemed to let me review the cottage properly- just gave me a set of tick box questions. As I said it is a lovely cottage unless u mind sleeping with ur dog and a fridge and freezer in the same room-which I did! As for Tintagel-been coming here for years and is as lovely as ever!

Definitely must visit: Tintagel Castle.
Definitely must visit: Tintagel Castle.
The views are stunning. It was challenging to find Merlin’s face, but it was fun when we finally found it:). Definitely recommend, don’t leave the place before finding the face on the rocks.
The Arthur’s arm pub is a great place to eat. Try the Cream Tea, it’s homemade and absolutely delicious 😋
Exceptional stay - the property was spotlessly clean, newly refurbished, the room had all needed amenities and more (even bathrobe was provided), quality mattress and bedding, gorgeous view of the sea and 19th century castle. Owners of the property were very welcoming, advised on the best route to the hotel and shared taxi contacts. Lovely breakfast, especially the fresh fruit salad. Location is the best for the views and access to Tintagel Castle.
It's absolutely lovely hotel with kind and client orientated owner!
We asked about leaving our laggege before staying and he agreed emmidiatly.
The rooms were amazing, very clean and comfortable! There cattle, coffee, tea inside.
The breakfast was fantastic (full english breakfast available)) like in Mishlen restaurant)
It was absolutely fantastic and comfortable staying in Tintagel (the landscapes are all around about 5 min)!
Location is perfect with a short walk to Tintagel and access to Tintagel Castle. A very unusual hotel with plenty of places to sit and admire the views. Room was fine - we had a view out of the front of the Hotel which was fine to view the Town. We had dinner at the Restaurant and it was very nice food and a pleasant room with nice staff. It's a different place for 1 or 2 night stay.
Breakfast was lovely - fully cooked with lots of choice! Service from the staff was great throughout - they were very attentive and friendly. Parking was very convenient and spacious and we were kindly allowed to leave our car in the car park during the day while we went for a hike to Boscastle. Location is pretty much the most central place you could be in Tintagel for a tourist.
Our room was in the annex of the building, a large room with excellent facilities. Comfortable bed, large shower with toiletries provided. Room had good heating. Breakfast was included in our price and served in the hotel, with a choice of continental and cooked option. Free car parking provided in local car park, with guest parking ticket. Easy walking to Tintagel castle.
The room was very clean and comfortable with a sea view looking out towards the Castle Hotel on the Headland at Tintagel. Breakfast was more than adequate with juice, tea or coffee, choice of cereals, yogurts, fruit and continental style variations. Cooked breakfast, omelette or eggs benedict/royale followed by tea and jam/marmalade. It was very good.
The apartment is perfect for a group of up to 6 people. It has everything you need to make it a home from home. The owner also runs the giftshop downstairs so was on hand for any queries. Located on the main street, there's easy access down to Tintagel Castle and lots of options for food and drink. Would definitely come back here again.
Great location if you wish to be near the castle ruins that are the tourist reason to be there. On site parking was excellent. Would recommend off loading luggage before driving to park, it will be obvious why when you arrive. Town was easily walked and a couple of very near by options if you don't eat in their restaurant.
Great parking behind the hotel. The location is perfect for strolling along the few shops and also to walk to Tintagel Castle. The food was very good. We shared the fish platter for dinner and breakfast was awesome. Very accommodating to my gluten free friend. Very quiet in the evening. Nice, friendly staff.
Magnificent setting, so close to Tintagel Castle and with its own majestic outlook. The hotel common areas are charming, warm and a little quirky - plenty of places to sit with a wine or cuppa, in privacy or company. Wonderful welcoming staff who all appeared to love their jobs and care about their guests.
The location is perfect for access to the castle path. Very friendly & accommodating staff. Nice pub to relax & have a beer in, good for solo traveller, staff is friendly. Breakfast was delicious! There are nearby cliff walks, beautiful area! The castle will be closed on very windy days.
Clare and Phil were great hosts and provided a comfortable bed, great views to the sea and the countryside, and a terrific breakfast, all at a very good price. It's also a convenient location with short walks to restaurants and Tintagel Castle. An all-around great place to stay.
the dogs were treated so nicely in the hotel and even a throw provided so they could sleep on the bed such a lovely thought! Breakfast was delicious in a very attractive conservatory with wide views of Tintagel castle, the entrance to which was practically next door
Central location so ideal for visiting the castle. Welcome was good and room clean although shower room was in need of some TLC. Separate access for those staying so didn't have to walk through restaurant
It is small hotel with very friendly hosts, delicious fresh breakfast, nice equipment for a short stay. Easy access to Tintagel Castle (run by
English Heritage) and beautiful nature area nearby
The huge breakfast, hotel location with amazing views in every direction, convenient for 95 bus stop and coastal path to walk to Tintagel Castle, the solid old Hotel building was warm throughout.
Great location- only a 10 min walk to the castle. Lots of nice pubs and shops along the way. Very clean and spacious room, and quiet location. Easy and free parking. The breakfast was delicious!
