We were very impressed by the combination between old historical house and modern touch. The kitchen had everything we needed, it was a real pleasure to drink wine and watch the Lago from the window. The garden was amazing, large and well maintained, quiet and just above the Lago. You can admire the nature with a glass of wine during the night ot with a coffee in the Mornings. The host was really friendly and helpful, she even made reservations for us in two restaurants and gave us useful input.

It has a small "zoo" with turtle, rabbits, - perfect for children. The pool is nice. Garden is very good. Rooms are clean. Staff is super friendly! And there is a private parking. Location is great too - close to the shop and embankment with all the restaurants.

Our stay at the Stresa Residence was simply, magical! We attended a wedding in Stresa and opted for a property rental rather than a hotel. We are SO glad we did. We had the best time ever. The property was in such an amazing location- central to everything. There was a grocery store 2 minutes up the road. We were able to get to the water in just a few minutes, too. The balcony was such a plus. It was so amazing to sit on the balcony, enjoy a glass of wine, and have such great views of everyone strolling through the shops and streets below. The host, Giuliano was helpful and so kind. He helped us with busing information since we had a hard time communicating in Italian. The apartment was extremely clean and spacious. It was evident that the property owners have pride in their property. HUGE bathroom, closet and the "Murphy Bed" was so comfortable! We liked being able to put the bed up to have more space during the day. The little kitchen was perfect for cooling meals, too! We hope to be back one day!
