Super clean condo with everything I needed including cookware, plates, laundry detergent, and some basic toiletries. Bed was comfortable, AC worked great, and water pressure was great. I used the washer/dryer combo which was great to have in unit. The condo is located 50 meters from a grocery store, which is very convenient. Also nearby is an ATM, shops, restaurants and cafes - right in the heart of downtown Funchal. The property manager was very helpful/responsive. I paid for parking and it was worth it - great, private lot. There is an elevator in the building which is good for luggage. And the area/building were very quiet. I was on the street side and barely heard anything outside. Highly recommend. Will stay here again if in Funchal.

The apartment had everything that I needed for my stay, clean and well appointed. The restaurant downstairs, owned by the same people served excellent food and offered a discount for those renting the apartment. The host Maikel was excellent, attentive and generous, allowing me to stay for a final night free of charge when it became apparent that I had made a mistake with my departure date. If I return to Madeira, I will definitely consider these apartments again. 10 out of 10

Fort Bay Suite Apartments er staðsett í innan við 200 metra fjarlægð frá Sao Roque-ströndinni og 300 metra frá Banda d'Alem-ströndinni. Such a beautiful place!! Cute interior, perfectly located in the center of the old town, right next to a cute and delicious bakery, we booked very last minute but were very warmly welcomed and able to check in early even. There are washing machines and driers which really saved us 🙂

Apartments were real high quality, clean and well accommodated. Fantastic pool available to the guests at the terrace as well as pool table which provided fun activities for the evening. Location of the object was great, about 100m to the beach surrounded with restaurants. Great location also allowed to move around the island quite easily. Owner of the Blue House was a real nice person, greeted us right up front and provided any help that was needed.

Our entire experience with Diogo was amazing. He was hands on from the beginning with quick responses, corresponding with us 2 days before our arrival, guiding us to the hotel, allowing us an early check in and went as far as assisting us with our onward travels. The apartment was modern and well equipped and exactly as described on Booking and the pics. Location was central and within walking distance to bus stops, La Vie shopping mall and promenade. Aeroport bus stop is directly in front of LA Vie Centre. Thank you Diogo for being the best host thus far on our travels.

Great location and fantastic apartment with all you need. Modern, new, comfortable and functional. The roof terrace with pool and sunbathing area makes the place extra special, with fantastic views. We were up there nearly every evening to read after a day of hiking. With a coffee or a drink. One evening we had our own tapas dinner up there with magical views over the city and coast at night. The owners are super nice and helped us with all inquiries incl. great recommendations. All in all the place is a hidden gem 😊
