The breakfast was perfect and I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the dining room and getting the opportunity to meet other guests. The location was also perfect.

Sail Lofts cuenta con vistas al mar, restaurante y wifi gratis. Ofrece alojamiento bien ubicado en Douglas, a poca distancia de Douglas Beach, Manx Museum y Gaiety Theatre. I travel a lot for work and stay in loads of hotels and apartments, mainly booked on Booking.com and Airbnb. Most are OK, some not great, but few are truly exceptional. The Sail Lofts are firmly in the exceptional category. The accommodation was excellent - comfortable and smartly furnished, the location was outstanding, the breakfast provided (in advance) was the best I've ever seen, and the stay was great value for money. Truly a (very rare) 10/10 for me, by far and away the best spot in Douglas that I've stayed - and there have been many!

El bed and breakfast Cubbon House goza de una ubicación ideal en el paseo marítimo de Douglas, la capital de la Isla de Man, y ofrece habitaciones con baño privado y conexión WiFi gratuita. So ideally located right on the promenade just behind the high street. The landlords were friendly from the start and provided a great stay. I was greeted, shown my room and cooked a lovely breakfast by the owners. The breakfast was hot, tasty and there was a great selection of cereals / juices too. My room which overlooked the sea was spot on. Spotlessley clean, comfortable bed and a great TV, not to mention the super fast Wifi. The fridge in the room was a great touch too.

El The Devonian está situado a 2 minutos a pie de la playa y ofrece vistas a Glen Falcon y a los jardines paisajistas. The staff were extremely friendly, and very attentive. Breakfast was wonderful and very reasonably priced. The location is perfect, right in the middle of Douglas. Rooms were very tidy and comfortable. There was a storm the day we were meant to sail home and they were very accommodating, letting us keep the room util 6pm and not check out during the day of sailing incase our ferry was cancelled, and then letting us extend our stay for another 2 nights when our boat was cancelled. I'd highly highly recommend the Devonian!

El Englewood Lodge, de 5 estrellas, goza de vistas a la bahía de Douglas y ofrece habitaciones de diseño individual con vistas al mar y baño privado de lujo. ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING Where do you begin . The house is magnificent , the decor elegant , food was sensational , price was very reasonable but the real gem here is the host . Margaret goes above and beyond in every aspect of her role as a host , the attention to detail in every aspect from breakfast on thru to the daily linen and cleanliness is second to none . When we return to the Isle we won’t stay anywhere else . In 16 years traveling over 70 countries we have never given a 10 accept now . Congratulations Margaret and THANK YOU you made our stay on the island just what it should be “ PERFECT “

El Ascot es un establecimiento de lujo asequible con servicio de calidad excelente. El Ascot es ideal tanto para estancias de negocios como de placer. Clean, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff.

The Cottage, Bridge House, que cuenta con vistas a la montaña, dispone de alojamiento con terraza y patio a unos 12 min a pie de Laxey Wheel. Just returned from a lovely 4 night stay at The Cottage. This is a beautifully presented quirky one bedroom cottage, perfect for the two of us. Upon arrival The Cottage was immaculate & is very well supplied with everything you need for a self catering holiday. There is instant hot water even when heating isn't on, shower has great water pressure too. There is a small private patio area off the kitchen which we didn't use during our stay but in height of summer will be a lovely place to sit. The cottage is alongside the electric railway embankment & viaduct; we believe the cottage was there long before the railway (very slight noise as the train passes, but not intrusive at all). Approx a 10 mins walk to Laxey Beach which when we were there the sun was shining & the bay was a busy & happy place. We used (for the first time) public transport into Douglas, buses were every half hour up until 10pm, then hourly (good app available to check times etc). Short walk up some slightly steep hills onto the main road where there's local shops, pubs the electric railway & where you pick up public transport. Highly recommend & would definitely look at staying here again next time we're on the island.
