Halepuna Waikiki ligt in het hart van Waikiki, op 2 minuten lopen van Waikiki Beach. Dit luxe boetiekhotel wordt omgeven door winkels en eetgelegenheden. Beautiful hotel, very clean and new facilities. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby area is quiet compared to other hotels that have a lot of tourists, so that was a plus for us.

Kona Tiki Hotel ligt in Kailua-Kona, op 5 minuten lopen van Honl’s Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een barbecue. location is great, staff very friendly and helpful. room was great, amazing views. bed very comfortable. modern room. car park available.

Ocean Breeze Inn ligt in Keaau, op 20 km van Lava Tree State Monument, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een barbecue. De locatie lag erg landelijk, vlak bij de oceaan (loopafstand 200 meter) Daar was echter geen strand- of zwemmogelijkheden. Ruime tuin en parkeergelegenheid en gratis gebruik van wasmachine en droger. de kamer had een heerlijk ruim balkon. De kamer was schoon en er was voldoende linnenvoorziening.

Coffee Garden is gelegen in Captain Cook, op 6,9 km van Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. We had a fantastic stay! We got welcomed with fresh papayas and avocados from the garden. The property is very nice and for us in the perfect location as we were not looking for the touristy sites. Close to fantastic snorkeling spots!

Volcano Eco Cabin Retreat is een chalet in Volcano, op 16 km van Kilauea en op 9,6 km van de ingang van Volcano National Park. We loved everything about the accomodation. The atmosphere is wonderful, in the middle of a forest, calmness, silence, beautiful starry nights, jungle sounds. The lodge has everything you need, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, good wifi, everything is clean. It is very close, about a 20 minutes drive to Volcanoes National Park. I highly recommend to stay here if you visit Big Island. The hosts are so kind and helpful they really put their hearts and mind into this little lodge. Hale Hualalai bevindt zich in Kailua-Kona, op 8,9 km van Kaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de zee. The breakfast was amazing. It was nice to get island information from Ricky. The suite was very comfortable.

Deze bed & breakfast ligt op 20 km van het Ahalanui Park in Pahoa, Hawaii, en biedt uitzicht op de tuin en een gratis continentaal ontbijt met zelfgebakken brood en jam. We had a wonderful stay at the Tropic Inn! Irene, the owner, is an amazing host, you can really feel that for her running this B&B is a dream come true. Every morning she prepaired a delicious breakfast with fresh fruit from her tropical garden, Kona Coffee, homemade marmelades, juice etc. She also served other local products like bread and yogurt. She gave us a LOT of really good tips, as she knows the island like a true Hawaiian or maybe even better... The room was very big and clean, the beds were comfortable and the shared bathroom was also perfect. Towels were changed really often, as there is a lot of humidity, but there was no bad smell at all, which was great being in the middle of the jungle. You can park the car in front of the house (yes, you definitely need a car to move around!!!) and wifi was working really good. The Tropic Inn is close to the last lava flow, which ist very interesting to see ("end of the road" nearby...). It is a really good location to visit the Vulcano national park and Hilo, amongst others. We definitely recommend this accomodation and wouldn't want to stay elsewhere on Big Island (we know, we have to come back;-))

We were upgraded to a master ocean view suite, which was spectacular. The view and sounds of the ocean were the backdrop to our deeply relaxing and inspiring stay. The location is easily the most beautiful on the island. The swimming beach was fantastic and my husband was pleased to be able to snorkel right on the property every day. The breakfast and different options for food were plentiful, healthy and delicious. And the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, special and comfortable. We also enjoyed the complimentary yoga and sound bath sessions and I enjoyed a world class facial with the excellent Cindy at the spa. We loved the whole experience and will be back!

Dit luxe strand resort ligt aan de zonnige westkust van Oahu, op Hawaii. Het beschikt over restaurants, bars, zwembaden en lagunes met watersport. lots of swimming pool and the infinity adult pool has great sunset view. Services are exceptional! All the staff are so welcoming during our stay. Special shout out to Spencer at the drive way and Sam at the pool.
