Everyone was very nice and the room was larger than we expected. They also had a good car park with plenty of room. We had a very tasty dinner in the restaurant. It's around the corner on sheep street so it was very quiet. All in all it was a very pleasant stay.

We first visited this inn in 1983! It gets better every visit. This was our first lodging visit and it was wonderful! Plus the food—dinner and breakfasts were amazing! Great overall experience.

We stayed at the Three Horseshoes over New Year. It is in a perfect location away from the crowds of Burford, set in beautiful countryside. The pub and rooms had just been refurbished. The rooms were really cozy and the food was excellent. We visited lots of pubs in the area and this was definitely the best. The owner and her stuff were wonderful, welcoming and helpful, we would definitely love to come back.

Burford is a medium sized Cotswolds town - pretty, lots of places to eat and drink, local independent shops and a good place as a base to explore the wider Cotswolds area.
Burford Golf Club is very close, as is the Cotswolds Wildlife Park. Both recommended.

Burford is a great place to visit.
Burford is a great place to visit. The shops are individual and interesting and it is one of the best places for pubs with open fires in winter. It is a very attractive place with many interesting buildings. A short distance away is a wonderful garden centre.
We ate one night at the Highway Inn where we were staying and the next night at the Lamb. Good meals in both.

Beautiful place to visit, walk around, shop, eat and drink and enjoy the incredible architecture
Take your camera. There's lots to photograph.
Fantastic Garden Centre just outside is also worth a visit with lots of stores of other items and clothing. The restaurant is excellent.
The Highway Inn is well located on the High Street in Burford close to all the shops and whilst it does not have its own car park there were plenty of parking bays available outside and opposite. This was free parking overnight, although time limited during the day. All hotel staff were extremely friendly and especially kind to my dog - I felt he was very welcome in both the room and the restaurant area. I had a spacious and comfortable room on the top floor. Food in the restaurant was delicious both for dinner and breakfast.
Everything was perfect. Anna is an amazing and kind host with a gorgeous, character filled home. The details speak for themselves as you explore the majestic corridor and living spaces. Many people come to the Cotswolds for a fairytale experience, and that's very much what you get here. Anna serves a delicious healthy breakfast in the mornings and makes sure you're ready for your day however she can. The cherry on top was spending time with her very precious and big personality pack of pups :) Thank you again Anna
Beautiful 15th century inn with individual rooms of excellent taste! We stayed in the Tanfield Room. It was gorgeous with stone floors, a good sized bedroom and additional lounge area and hall with coat hooks. Bathroom had luxury Molton Brown toiletries. Breakfast was table service as COVID still an issue. Staff all warm friendly and efficient. Plenty of car parking. Burford town centre 2 mins. Grounds of the hotel were outstanding with ample tables, seating and deckchairs. Highly recommend
I have stayed before and will stay again. This is a very well run friendly establishment. They think of every comfort, the bigger names fall short on, to make your stay relaxing and stress free. The beds are comfy, the food is delicious. They are right on the high street so very well situated for the town of Burford and travelling out to the Cotswold. The shower room is separate, but right opposite, so give this hotel a try, you won't be disappointed.
I loved the location of the property close to Burfords main street but out of the way in the countryside. The breakfast was exceptional with pastries to start followed by breakfast of your choice! The beer garden was my favourite part of this hotel just so peaceful and beautiful surroundings.
having tried over the past 4 to 5 years to book we finally made it unfortunately they only had one night available. on entering the angle at burford we where greeted from a member of there staff with a very welcoming hello we new we had booked a very professional establishment.
I loved this house tucked away at the bottom of Burford high street. Loved the garden and enjoyed seeing all the different birds and butterflies come and visit. The house had everything you needed. The instructions with the house are very accurate.
This is a super apartment in the middle of Burford Village. I loved the off street parking and proximity to shops and restaurants. Lovely decor and the most comfortable bed that I have slept on in ages and I'll definitely be back.
The hotel was lovely. Very welcoming and cosy . Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was lovely too. Great location to some picturesque villages. Just a five minute walk in to Burford High street. Hopefully will return soon .
Nice room, bathroom was small and had limited head height but fine for a night . Nice friendly staff. Location easy access to amenities in Burford. Breakfast is continental, cooked options are extra. Would visit again.
Superb hotel set in beautiful countryside. Very comfortable and spacious rooms, delicious food, helpful and friendly staff. Lovely walks in the area, peaceful countryside, yet close to quaint villages like Burford
A perfect room, clean, warm and well appointed. Everything on your doorstep. Free parking, a pleasant change these days. A good choice of eating places and a trip to Burford Garden Centre is a must!
Comfortable room, dog welcome, large breakfast available if required. Ideal stopover for long journeys - easy access to A40 and good parking. Picturesque walk from hotel down Burford High St.
We stayed in the small house which is attached to the hotel and it was great and well equipped. The location is in a good place on the high street. The hotel was quiet and cozy.
Overall experience from the hotel. This is a great hotel in the centre of Burford. Lovely cottage cottage at the back where we enjoyed a superb evening dinner.
