Great location. Easy access for the town centre. Less than a 10 minute walk to the train and bus services.
Friendly staff. Lovely food, breakfast served every morning. A great choice from the menu. Always freshly served and hot. Nice, relaxed atmosphere.
Twin room. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. There was even an iron with an ironing board and a travel hairdryer! The beds were super comfy. No backache at all during our stay!
Set in 2 acres of grounds, Boscundle Manor boasts a heated indoor swimming pool, bar and a spa. Just 1 mile from The Eden Project, the property also offers free parking and free WiFi.

Friendly staff. Nice hotel and lovey spa location, well kept. Bar drinks were not overly extensive and dinner was lovely.
From our country house hotel by the sea, the only thing we overlook is the bay. Our spectacular clifftop location offers a 180 degree sea view over Carlyon Bay.

We came to meet up with family at the Lost Gardens of Heligan, just for the day, which were wonderful. We did not visit the beach or any other facility. We returned to our holiday destination in North Devon the same day.

St Austell is a great base to explore Cornwall.
St Austell is a great base to explore Cornwall. The town isn't fantastic, but it's 5 minutes from the Eden Project, also 5 minutes to Charlestown , an historic and interesting harbour, Mevagissey is very near, and it's near to several beaches.

Many interesting places to visit.
Many interesting places to visit. Lovely coastline with quaint villages. Mevagissey, Fowey, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden project are must sees! I shopped in St Austell itself. A good variety of shops, in interesting streets and lanes.

We stayed in Mevagissey which is south of StAustel.
We stayed in Mevagissey which is south of StAustel. St Austel is not the best place to visit in Cornwall and is a little run down but there are promises that efforts are being made to improve its image and facilities.

Ours was a short stay so spent most of the time travelling around the area including a boat trip to Falmouth.
We enjoyed a 'eat as much as you like' chinese meal at the Water Margin restaurent in St Austell. The service and quality of menu was excellent. Recommended.
Good size bedrooms and nice bathrooms. Wi-fi worked well for me and I needed to work while there so that was very important. Nice location with 15 min walk into harbour where you could find a few nice restaurants to eat in. Would recommend The Longstore for dinner, The Cellar for drinks and The Boathouse for a nice lunch in the garden. Good size Tesco and Lidl 3 mins drive and Aldi and Asda close by too. We had a nice chinese delivered from Chinese Wok - Saint Austell one night as well.
the location was perfect for The Eden Project and the Lost Hardens of Heligan. We walked to Carlyon Bay for a beach day and found places to eat close by in Charlestown and Mevagissey. The hotel is stylish and welcoming with a choice of places to relax indoor and outdoors. Their cream tea and breakfasts were amazing! Also, there were lovely touches like a bag hung on our door every morning with homemade muffins for a pre breakfast treat.
Breakfast was exceptional - good variety on menu and well presented. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The location was convenient for walking into the town centre and the hotel made a good base for visiting attractions such as Charlestown, Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan as well as resorts of Mevagissy and the Padstow area. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and knowlegeable about the area
While on a bike trip from Lands End to John o Groats we chose to stay at the White Hart Hotel. We were travelling by tandem and upon request space was made available for our tandem to be stored overnight in the hotel cellar. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and the food excellent. All in all the White Hart Hotel is great value for money.
The suite was extensive with a huge bathroom. Rather a bizarre configuration because it comprised various parts of an old house, but very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially accommodating our having breakfast in a separate room as we weren't feeling terribly well. The grounds were lovely, too. A lot of thought and work has been put into this hotel.
The room was too basic. Bed was uncomfortable.
The "full English" was poor with my poached egg leaving the water it was poached overy plate. The tomato had a lighter held over it to "grill" it.
The staff member who served us had bleach stains on his shirt.
Lovely spot poor hotel.
Good Town centre location, Car park very close by (Pay) Comfortable and clean. Close Wetherspoons pub, the only other pub worth visiting is the Western (West Hill) close to an ancient bridge. 5 minute walk to railway station. Ideal for those using public transport.
The hotel is in a stunning location with fantastic views of Carlyon Bay and surrounding coastline. The view from the lovely gardens was great too. Car parking convenient. Friendly and helpful staff and pleasant bar and conservatory.
The hotel was elegantly decorated and pristine. Great welcome and the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Used the spa and this was very relaxing. Breakfast was excellent and enjoyed dinner in the spa bar.
Superb hotel, rooms were a good size very nicely decorated with attention to detail and good facilities. The hospitality was wonderful and the breakfast exceptional! Will definitely come again and would highly recommend.
clean, tidy & the couple who own it are lovely. the beds were super comfortable! amenities were fab. for a small hotel it was comfortably running alongside the Carlyon Bay hotel in its efforts!
Rooms were a good size and comfortable. Wifi good. Handy having a restaurant in house and meal choice good. Secure parking but some distance from the hotel which is on narrow one-way streets.
