Spa was great. Had a lovely 90min message.

The aim was to see as much of the Hluhluwe Game Reserve as possible. Using Booking.com we were able to have two full days in the Reserve. We saw many animals including Cheetah/ elephants /Rhino / Buffalo/ Zebra /warthog and a variety of buck.
The area is well known for its sweet pineapples which are readily available on the roadside.
Suggestion: book secure accomodation and bring mosquito repellent

Amazing park!!!
Amazing park!!! A pity we didn’t get to see any of the cats but it was still an amazing experience. We did a self drive and the roads were manageable with the Toyota urban cruiser so not necessary a 4x4. However we went in the dry season so be careful if you go during the wet season as I think a 4x4 would be needed. Amazon place where I would love to go back. Memorial gate- cash only. Nyalazi gate - cash or card. R5 for the maps.

We enjoyed our stay at Anew Hluhluwe, the facilities were great, the buffet was really good with a variety of options and friendly staff. I loved the Zulu dancing entertainment, it was a great vibe in the evenings. The front desk staff were pleasant and it was very convenient to book the safaris at the hotel. We had an incredible guide, Israel who took us on a morning safari, he was so knowledgable and we saw 4/5 Big 5. My disappointment was that I booked to spend my birthday at this hotel and I stated on my booking that I would like something special done for the evening at dinner, I reminded the staff at check-in and the dinner staff the day before, yet my bday was not acknowledged the next day at dinner. I was extremely disappointed as this is where I chose to spend my birthday with a short vacay. I did make the front desk staff and manager aware of this on check out.

We love visiting all the amenties that was around Hluhluwe.
We love visiting all the amenties that was around Hluhluwe. fot eg, the cheetah interation, Umfolozi game reserve etc We ate at the Railway breweries, steers and KFC. We got around with our own car. Not sure if I would avoid anything
AMAZING! We stayed at Hluhluwe Bush Camp on two different nights, and both were INCREDIBLE. The staff are extremely friendly, very accommodating and the atmosphere is very homey, comfortable and clean. The tents are very tranquil and have everything to offer. Spectacular experience. We were breathless from the whole experience. We loved every moment and will be back again!
The towel features were just a delight. The small touches go a long way.
The two bedroom cottage was cozy, had everything we needed, bird life was amazing, wifi great, restaurant food was tasty and served well, stuff was smiling and helpful, a special mention of Craig, the owner, who were extremely helpful and catered to some of our emergency needs when the town shops was shut for few days due to kzn unrest, and fed us with lots of useful information. Will be returning soon 🙂.
The unit was extremely clean, quite spacious, the bush experience was nice, lot of duikers around, saw giraffes on a walking trail, very peaceful inside, a special mention of Emma, Anton, and Dewet who were extremely helpful and catered to some of our emergency needs when the town shops was shut for few days due to kzn unrest. Overall a comfortable and memorable stay.
Our Host offered us the deluxe family room instead of the chalet. The Family room had the most divine outside area , where we relaxed and ate all our meals. We also had access to the pool which was great as Hluhluwe can get very hot especially after a long day in the park. Close to Hluhluwe Game Reserve - will definately be back.
The location is good, easy access to the Hluhluwe/Imfolozi Park.
Great to have shop, restaurant, weavers and brewery and nature walk nearby.
The unit was well appointed and clean to a degree.
Appreciated the firelighters, firewood, tea/coffee station, insect spray and fresh water bottle.
Perfect location for our visits to I-Simangaliso and Hluhluwe National Parks. Accommodation was exceptional, food was lovely with a great wine selection! But what made the whole visit perfect was the staff, everyone was helpful and friendly. We'd definitely go back again!
Very clean, neat and comfortable. Bush life with a luxury feel.
All amenities available made self catering very easy. Lovely outdoor area set up. Very private rooms for big families travelling together who still want some privacy.
Owners are accommodating.
For the price this place was awesome! We are on a backpacker budget and this allowed us to visit Hluhluwe-Imfolozi within our budget. Fairly good kitchen facilities and clean rooms/bathrooms! The host was so friendly, we would definitely stay here again!
Great central location 15 minutes from Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Gate. Very clean & cosy. Great bed that was so comfy. Somehow Booking.com had our dates wrong, but Hlulala thankfully had space & accommodated us.
A nice getaway, close to Hluhluwe game reserve - easy access to day visits. A comfortable "modest" cottage. We enjoyed the view of the dam and loved that the Bushbabies visited us.
Breakfast was AMAZING
Unit was lovely and clean and well maintained - maybe some better numbering
cant wait to come back
swimming pool by self catering units was lovely
The entire experience was good. The game drive to hluhluwe, xmas dinner and super friendly staff. The manager / supervisor Rebecca has great client skills, she is wonderful.
We liked the self catering and that we also had a choice yo dine at the dining room.
The game viewing lounge was very social and lovely to enjoy in the evenings.
