Stayed while visiting Port Arthur historical sights. Was very pleasant to be in the country and to feed the sheep and llamas. Cottage had everything we needed, and then some. Loved having the washing machine since we'd been traveling several days. Good fresh juices and selection of breakfast foods. Highly recommend. Hosts live nearby, but we were on the go and unfortunately did not meet them.

Very nice little bungalow, well located on Bruny Island, close to Pingouins and other places of interest. Bungalow is well equipped, including breakfast ready in the fridge and expresso coffee machine as well as a well stocked cupboard with some small necessities helpful for cooking dinner. Very accommodating host!

The property was in an immaculate condition and such a beautiful setting. Linda had kindly provided us with lots of food and other supplies (e.g. matches, tin foil, coffee pods, laundry powder, fresh eggs, bread), which enhanced our stay. As well as the bath, we utilised the fire pit (wood supplied) and the BBQ too. It was quite a treat to explore the island and bushwalk each day, then return to, and enjoy, the property each evening.

We loved our stay at this property. The owner, Rod, was extremely friendly and very helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The farm and surrounding scenery were just beautiful and we would take long walks in the afternoon and evening, accompanied by one of their dogs. We had a chicken hang out near our back door and the cows at times were close by as well. Rod took us into the field to brush the Highland cattle, which we really enjoyed. The views of the hills, the bay and parts of the Port Arthur historic site were just gorgeous. We would definitely stay at Ruby‘s cottage again.
