Extremely knowlegable and friendly staff, especially the dude named Mathieu. I was also impressed by how friendly and open all the guests were. Did not have a dull moment! Bonus points for having curtains on the beds for extra privacy, first time having this and I think it should be the standard in more places.

I’ve stayed in many hostels but this was my first time with a toddler. the staff are amazing and made it a wonderful and calm experience. they were so accommodating to me and my toddler. they were kind, friendly and understanding. we were late for check in but we’re still welcomed warmly and they really made an effort with my toddler who also enjoyed his stay. it was clean, comfy, excellent location and unreal value for money. looking forward to staying with them again for my next visit! thank you all

There is a small kitchen with free coffee, sugar salt and all utilities for making breakfast, simple lunch and dinner. The pension is only few minutes from the central bus station (opposite to which is a Spar supermarket which you need for bred, butter, sausage and cheese) and the train station. The street is full of restaurants and cafés; the two mini markets open till late evening. The Marina is not far, too. The rooms are rather quiet. The manager was always ready for help and advise, even when having to come from home (5 minutes by car).

This was my favourite place to stay during our 2 week trip to the Algarves. The host was perfect. I accidentally left my hat there and he made sure I got it back. The place itself is absolutely charming and different from any place I had stayed in before. It has both a rich historical vibe but with modern amenities about it that is difficult to describe. I loved the old piano room with the high painted ceilings. I loved the kitchen set up , it had available beer and coffee to purchase! I loved our room which was perfectly set up with high ceilings and windows and decorated simply and practically and very clean. The beds were very comfy. I loved the shared terrace. I wish we could have stayed longer in this great place. It was easy to find and use the codes to get in, and just steps from the front door is a neat artsy store, a variety store and restaurants. Its on a street you cannot drive so parking is to be found a bit further away. I LOVED this place.
