We loved that we could book the in-house onsen for an hour privately. It was good to soak and relax after a long day of skiing! The breakfasts were an absolute treat and we appreciated that we could eat dinner in house too, saving us going out in the cold at night. To top this all off, Maseyo picked us up and dropped us off at the station when we arrived and departed. We hope to be back.

Ringo-Noki is the most beautiful little Lodge, with only around 6 rooms, in Hakuba run by the very lovely couple of Yoshi-San and his wife Kayo. Everything was perfect about this place, the decoration, the service provided by Yoshi and Kayo, the delicious breakfast, the cleaness, the beautiful onsen to use everyday after a full day of activities. When arriving you were directly greeted with tea and the stunning common area. All rooms also have coffee and tea for you to make and use at your convenience. Right next to the lodge is the bus stop for the free shuttle and within walking distance you have several nice and delicious restaurants, cafés and bakery and other shops. Can highly recommend this location.

The air conditioned rooms have carpeted floors, a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a refrigerator. Each comes with slippers and free toiletries. Taka the host of Belnina is the star of the operation, so warm friendly and down to earth makes you feel like you are a friend staying at his home. Location is convenient to restaurants, bars and snow shuttle. I will be back.

Guests at the charming Nomanomori can go hiking, skiing or golfing in the area. The lodge offers ski storage facilities and free parking. Delightful cosy b&b with the most friendly, helpful and generous owners. Rooms are not huge but ample for a couple with lovely outlook over the garden. Breakfast is home cooked and delicious, served in a nice dining room with open fireplace nearby. The owners generously offered to serve us a home cooked meal for dinner one evening as we were having difficulty finding an open restaurant. It was delicious. Private bathrooms are small but adequate however they have a great large indoor bath/spa for guests which was so relaxing. Plenty of lovely places to visit, drives, local onsen etc and the owners have lots of local knowledge and information. Really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

Free WiFi is available at the entire property and guests can reserve a private open-air bath overlooking the forest. A free shuttle is available from JR Hakuba Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away and must be reserved at time of booking. Forest views are available from the 2nd floor of the accommodation. Great stay. Host was very kind and gave us a lift to and from the main bus terminal on check in & out

A 10-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort, guests at Log Cottage Epoch can rent out an entire cottage. Each spacious cottage comes with free Wi-Fi and includes a kitchen and a living room. JR Hakuba Train Station is a 10-minute drive away. The best park about this log cottage was the location. It was located in a quiet part of Nagano Olympic village next to the forest. It also had play equipment for the kids which they loved. The cottage was large enough for a family and also provided ample privacy.

Situated a 2-minute walk from the Happo Bus Terminal, the completely non-smoking Ski-Kan features a hot-spring bath and hotel-wide free WiFi. The compact Japanese rooms have futon bedding and an LCD TV. This place has the most amazing host, and a nice onsen.

Guests at snowhere ski lodge can enjoy an American breakfast. I like everything about the lodge. The room has its own en suite bath tub and an outside hot bath and balcony. The accomodation also has free breakfast plus they give free shuttle to the ski resort. Chris and Dan are both so friendly and very accomodating. The place is also near Echoland which has a lot of restaurants. It's like home away from home. We will be back for sure next winter!

An oven, a microwave and stovetop are also featured, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. Very similar to a European chalet holiday with a Japanese feel. Owners and staff were very friendly and attentive and organised everything from transport to lift passes, dinner bookings to serving a delicious breakfast.
