El Mt Dobson Motel ofrece alojamiento independiente con conexión WiFi gratuita ilimitada junto a un pub y restaurante histórico. This delightful (and tiny, 5 room) motel was the perfect stop for us. We were not looking to city walk in the evening, but if we were, it was about 30 minutes away from Lake Tekapo. Instead we went to dinner at a delightful restaurant in nearby Fairlie (6 minutes), the only town of consequence. (Kimbell is not a town, just a spot on the map.) We could also have had dinner at the delightful Silverstream Hotel, which is not related to the Mt. Dobson Motel although they share a parking lot. The room was very large and had a full kitchen which would have been very useful if our stay was more than one night. It was a bit of step-back-in-time furnishings but impeccably clean. On our way out of town the next day we stopped at the Fairlie Heritage Museum and learned a lot about the area. They had a section devoted to the Hamilton Jet boat engine... this company invented the jet boat and is the world's largest manufacturer of them; he got his start here! That was a delightful (unresearched) surprise! It has a little cafe as well. We also ate at the popular Fairlie Bakeshop in town.

La atención, la higiene y la comodidad. Sólo estuvimos una noche y todo estuvo excelente de acuerdo a lo que necesitábamos.
