Centrally located in Longyearbyen, Basecamp Hotel is a traditional trapper's lodge-style property just 15 minutes’ drive from Longyearbyen Airport. The airport bus stops right outside. First, just the design of the hotel is fantastic, you feel like in a place for explorers (and their families). Walking through corridors and discovering hidden passages is already an adventure. The attic with a glass roof and nice sitting area is a great place to relax. Second, the staff is super friendly and helpful. They will help you arrange your trips if you have not done so in advance. They also serve complimentary hot chocolate, tea and coffee any time of the day (next to the reception). Breakfast is really nice and will keep your energy up for quite some hours. Location is very convenient, just in the middle of the village, and you have an inside passage to the a great restaurant KROA. The supermarket (the only one in the town) is just few steps away. The place overall has a very nice atmosphere. I wish I could stay there longer.

Set in the Skjæringa area of Longyearbyen, Mary-Ann's Polarrigg is built with old rigs. Central Longyearbyen is between 6-8 minutes walk away and the airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. the property was clean and well equipped. the common rooms are cost and breakfast was amazing. the staff is very nice and always helpful. special thanks to receptionist Bojana for always greeting us with a smile and helping us with our million questions… you’re the best!! we can’t wait to visit you again :)

Radisson Blu Polar Hotel is the northernmost full-service hotel in the world, located in Longyearbyen. -location in the heart of Longyearbyen, everything is accessible on foot -the fjord view room is incredible -breakfast with lot of options -the hotel's restaurant was excellent with special dishes made of local ingredients

Exquisite hotel in Longyearbyen, beautifully decorated and ultra-comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, the views were spectacular, the 5 o'clock tea and treats were lovely and the staff was super friendly. They also have a great bar with very nice drinks. Everything exceeded our expectations.

The place is super comfy, no queues to shower and toilets, the kitchen is fully equipped even to bake. The hosts were super flexible and we could change our reservation as one person could not travel. The best budget place to stay and enjoy Longyearbyen!

Situated in Longyearbyen, within 1.3 km of Svalbard Church, Haugen Pensjonat Svalbard offers accommodation with free WiFi. Built in 1985, the property is within 2.1 km of Svalbard Museum. A fantastic place to stay. Great kitchen/ common room area and spacious rooms. Sharing a bathroom with another room was not a problem. Elena was very friendly and helpful and her regular afternoon cakes were delicious. Very relaxed atmosphere.
